Ruby inventory software for dealers
Rubies are corundum stones sourced mainly from Myanmar, Mozambique, Thailand, Madagascar and Sri Lanka. Rubies range from glass-filled stones to untreated Mozambique and Myanmar material, and the treatment disclosure on each stone has to be correct on every invoice and certificate.
What to record for each ruby
Typical fields: origin, heat and filling treatment, colour, carat weight and lab report number. GemColony keeps these on the stone record with photos and a barcode or QR label.
Parcels, lots and memos
Buy rubies as a lot, split it into parcels and single stones, and send stones out on memo while seeing who holds them and for how long.
Learn moreAI analysis from photos
Upload photos and GemColony's AI suggests type, origin, clarity and treatment, and can propose a market price. Use it as a second opinion; it does not replace a laboratory report.
Learn moreCertificates and sharing
Issue a provenance certificate with an online verification link and share any ruby with a branded link or QR code.
