Stock management for gem auctions and trade shows
Selling at an auction house or taking stones to Tucson, Hong Kong or Bangkok means carrying a lot of value away from your safe. GemColony helps you prepare the stock, label it, track who holds it and reconcile it afterwards. It does not run live auctions or accept bids.
Prepare lots and parcels
Group stones into lots, with photos, weights, origin, treatment and certificate numbers ready for a catalogue.
Label and scan
Print barcode and QR labels so every stone can be checked out and back in by scanning.
Memo to agents and fairs
Send stones out on memo to an agent or exhibition and see exactly which are still out and for how long.
Share before the sale
Send a branded link or QR code for any stone to prospective buyers, and quote through the quotation tools.
Reconcile afterwards
Turn memo items into sales, take the rest back into stock and see the difference in one report.
